Arsenal sign transfer papers. Gilberto having medical on Wednesday. Terms of the transfer revealed.

Then we first reveal that Gilberto’s representatives came away from Athens having agreed personal terms on behalf of Gilberto (Gilberto agrees personal terms for imminent transfer).
Now we can reveal that Arsenal have formally approved the transfer to Panathinaikos by signing the legal documents and dispatching them to Athens.

Ken Friar has spoken to the Greek press and revealed that Arsenal have agreed a fee for the transfer. He also said that they agreed to let Gilberto go to Panathinaikos because it was his choice and they did not want to stand in his way.
“We have agreed to the transfer and signed the papers. It is now an official agreement” he said.
It seems therefore that all that remains now is for Gilberto put pen to paper and the transfer will be done.

He will travel to the Greek Capital in the middle of next week to do so after undergoing a medical.
