Clichy feels he’s an “old man” in our team now — even though he’ll only be turning 23 on Saturday.

The left back will celebrate his birthday this year at the team’s training camp in Austria.

With 146 games under his belt, Clichy has the third highest number of Arsenal appearances in the current squad after Kolo Toure (285) and Cesc Fabregas (198). Also, some of his team-mates are now six years his junior.

Well, it does not bold well for us if there are only 3 first team players with more than 150 games for Arsenal. sigh... the news saddens me....

he is relatively older than other kids. But he is one of those kids. Right?

he's played a crucial role last season.he's not an old man but consider an experience in the youthful team.

Of course. 23 years old is considerate a young man but like you said, relatively other kids, he is a bit older

but its a sad fact that we dont have many experience players at their prime around 27 or 28 years old.....

for arsenal, we call experienced players when they are over 23 years...
