Arsenal captain William Gallas has emerged as a £5million target for Barcelona and Paris St Germain.
Gallas, 31 next month, joined Arsenal two years ago from Chelsea in a deal that took Ashley Cole to Stamford Bridge.
He was given the armband by manager Arsene Wenger a year ago when he replaced Gilberto Silva.
But there have been suggestions that Wenger is to make Spanish Euro 2008 star Cesc Fabregas his new skipper - which implies that Gallas will not be guaranteed firstteam football. Gallas's leadership qualities were called into question after the Gunners' controversial 2-2 draw at Birmingham, when he lost his cool after the Blues were awarded a late penalty.
Anyone want to let him go?

I don't like gallas since he moved to Arsenal...
Although £5mil is not enough...
Wenger shd sell him and buy one or two quality players...

No. we have got sod all in the centre at the back as it is. We cant let him go before we get a decent centre back

Hm... I would like him to stay but if Wenger will like to sell him than sell him. Than we must buy replacement for him. I most prefer Micah Richards and Philipe Mexes.

If we really want to sell, we have to buy first. We have no one to replace him at the moment. I rate Toure as no.1 and then Gallas as no.2. The rest of the kids cannot play for one full season. We need to buy before selling. No more mistakes.

Yes..Wenger shd think about his sale after he buys a good defender.

No matter how I dislike Gallas..Wenger haven't bought a good experience centreback yet and we lacked one at the back.Let him play for one more season to prove he's the worthy captain.I fear for the backlines so much & all hopes lay down to rock'KoloToure.
I only hope wenger can splash one more big experience signing on backlines.Then let Gallas go............
