Arsenal can today confirm the signing of midfielder Amaury Bischoff.

The French-born Portugal Under-21 international, 21, was a youngster with French clubs SR Colmar and Strasbourg before moving to Werder Bremen in 2005.

Bischoff, who can play either in the centre of midfield or on the right, was a regular at youth levels for Werder Bremen. His one senior appearance for the Bundesliga club came against Celta Vigo in the UEFA Cup in 2007.

Amaury has played for France's Under-18 team, however in 2007 he elected to train with Portugal and to date has appeared for their Under-21 side.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to welcome Amaury, who will wear squad No 28, and will join up with his team-mates for pre-season when the squad returns from their training camp in Austria.

Very surprised news....!!! wenger added an injury prone player a player who made one appearances for Bremen.
How much his transfer fee costs?

More one youngster player.

we already are screwed, i heard barry is going to livpool, arshavin maybe to tottenham

and wenger is buying young nonexperienced players,i hope wenger knows what is he doing

I really hope this is a mere rumour!!!How many times should we remind ourselves that we have abundance of youth talents in Jack wilshere,Henri Lansbury,Fran merida & Nacer baracite to choose from.
Besides in technically, Diaby or Denilson are more capable than this portuguese.

We also got the talent of Aaron Ramsey who plays well in midfield too..waste of money even though undisclosed transfer fees stated.
Better buy CB instead of getting another young inexperience midfielder.
I'm way more confused now!!!Well, !!

latest news is that Diaby is going to be the replacement for Flamini. the one more body may not be a DM.

this is going to be an unpredictable season.
