From this forum of one of the historical teams of the world football, I wanted to make a small honoring to a person and announce his case in order that nobody forgets him.
It was the Day 1 of the Spanish League, Sevilla FC - Getafe in the stadium of the Sevilla FC with the television cameras as witness.
In the middle of the first half our football player Antonio Puerta falls fulminated to the area of game, while the sevillistas support have their hearts in a fist. Puerta, which had precedents of motion sicknesses and threats of heart attack is in the soil while another of our football player, Dragutinovic tries to stick out of the mouth in order that he dont asphyxiated.

A beam of hope made us calm for a few instants, Puerta was getting up and was travelled to the wardrobe together with the doctor sevillista to be observed.
But before the rest, the cameras of TV forget the match and show us as Puerta we was unconscious, and he was moved in a stretcher towards to an ambulance of urgency that takes it to the hospital. His mother was in the door of the stadium where he went out in stretcher because since habitual age, she had been going to the stadium to see it to play.
The whole sevillismo was for two days waiting for good news on our player, we knew that he would not return to play to the football, but we wanted to see him.
so, on tuesday 28th of august 2007, Antonio Puerta died. The whole sevillismo that was waiting in the boundaries of the hospital wept for his death.
His funeral, in our Stadium, was multitudinous. The whole world wanted to say goodbye of him. The funeral car we cover it with flags of the Sevilla fc, scarves....
He opened us the doors of the sky, when with his goal before the Schalke, in the semi-finals of the UEFA, he marked in the extension time the goal that us was classifying by the final that later we gain, our first UEFA, our first title after 50 years, and everything thanks to him.
The translation of his surname Puerta is "door" in English, it did honor to his name, "he opened us the door of the sky, which later he crossed."

A very promising carrer was cut, since Puerta, of 22 years, the previous summer had been claimed by Real Madrid but he wanted to fulfill his dream to continue triumphing in his team the Sevilla FC. he was one of our youth player and he was born in the neighborhood where plays the Sevilla FC, Nervión's Neighborhood.
His girlfriend was embarrassed and his son to born few weeks ago.
his dorsal in the Sevilla FC, 16 forever no body take this number. But there is a possibility that it returns to illuminate 16 in the vest, and is that his son if he follows the stela of his father, will illuminate it.
But Puerta always is present, is the vest most sold in Seville and here one does not forget him.
For what, you are where you are Antonio, we remember you.

When I read that Puerta died I was shocked and I was almost crying. I watched some games of Sevilla when Puerta played and i saw that he is really good player. Around one week i was really down because of this. R.I.P. Puerta!

yes, here it was a very hard blow for all the circumstances that him were making a detour:
He was a player of our quarry with many projection, he did history with his goal before the Schalke04 making also Sevilla FC doing history, his pregnant girlfriend doing history, he was very young, a player who according to his companions was the happiest always had a smile for all, in addition it was one of most wanted by the interest because always he had an autograph for a child or always he was stopping for photos tough one could not, we was one ot the more wanted players by the fans, was a player born in the neighborhood of the club.....
so many people and so many things, that it is inexplicable what happened here during these days of uncertainty and still today it is not stopped speaking about him and in every match of the Sevilla FC in our Stadium, a bouquet of flowers is always where he fell door and always in the minute 16 in honoring to his number of vest, his name is shouted only happens in the match....

in August 2007, Antonio Puerta played his last match.
Sevilla FC and Getafe played this match and when Antonio was on the floor inconscient, his friend and another youth player of Sevilla FC who played in Getafe, Kepa Blanco, go to help to his friend beacuse he was the forward in the eleven players of Getafe, and in front of him, Antonio was our right defence. Kepa was subsitute in this match a few minutes later.
Puerta and Kepa was team-mate on Sevilla FC´s smallers teams, Sevilla FC "B" and Sevilla FC.

from this moment, Antonio Puerta´s footballer career is cut for the dead, and Kepa´s footballer career is cut by the memory, their bad memories....from this moment, Kepa who was a very interesting career for the future is not the same, he dont play in his team and no forget Antonio. this is one more history about this moments.

today, Sevilla FC and Getafe play again, in this time on Getafe´s Stadium who is calling Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. the matches between Getafe, one club of a village from Madrid, and Sevilla FC will be very "specially", the two teams will honouring Antonio Puerta.

and i hope that ower youth player Kepa play again and be the same forward that played on Sevilla FC "B" and Sevilla FC, in where was called by the fans "Kepa-goal".

my condolescene.

10 month with graffitties of condolences, support and memory from Sevilla FC fans, Betis fans and very others clubs in our Stadiums walls.
