What a rip-off!! Today I went into my local bookstore and trying to pass time off by reading some books and I saw this huge display with a sign saying "Newly translated from the original French:
37 Mating positions." Noticing that the books were already wrapped in plain brown paper, I just had to buy one but 1st I was a bit shy..I walk around and round then gather my nerves to grab it and walk to the counter.The lady bookstore owner look up to me and giggle.I pretend not noticing her and rushed out after paid it.
On the way home while driving..I asked myself who's the author that can think of 37 mating positions?"Lord, I need to try all this new positions"
Once safely at home I opened it, out of sight of my wife, and found that I had just purchased an expensive book about Chess with a small label 'No Refundable'.
