Wenger and Ferguson agrees..... 2 Months ago Karma: 16
Wenger and Ferguson have both backed Kevin Keegan and Alan Curbishley's decisions to quit their jobs after the duo rebelled against interference from their respective boards.

Curbishley was first to go at the start of the month after becoming disillusioned with West Ham United's transfer policy which, he claimed, undermined him.

Then, within the week, Keegan walked out of the job at Newcastle United pointing to similar interference from boardroom level. His departure caused chaos on Tyneside as fans protested against the board and embattled owner Mike Ashley later announced he had put the club up for sale.

In a rare show of unity, Wenger and Ferguson finally agrees on something. That is: There is a need for strong managers who do not allow owners to manipulate them and these managers dare to stand up for their beliefs!

I totally agree. to the owners: Leave the running to the MANAGERS!!!

Well, the club owners can be the manager if they think are capable of.

i hate this kind of stuff ,in Romania i think it's worse many managers have left the clubs or beeing sacked cuz` they didn't play by the owners rulez, witch is to buy only the players they whant and so,there was a case when the manager left beacouse the owner always interferd with the starting line up...and at the news all you see is owners arguing with other owners,ti's bad...so i agree owners sould mind their own ''buissnes''
