AC Milan missed out on the chance to climb up the table into fourth spot as they were held 1-1 by Livorno at the San Siro. Andrea Pirlo’s spot kick on the hour cancelled out Nico Pulzetti glorious 49th minute effort for the visitors. The Rossoneri pushed hard for a winner but were thwarted on numerous occasions by the impressive Marco Amelia in goal. Another sour note for the defending European champions was that Brazilian Ronaldo was carried off in tears with a suspected knee injury.

Milan is highly unpredictable. i would have thought they would be on fire with Pato in good form.

i hope we beat Milan by 2 goals in the first leg of the Champion League. It is important to build a healthy gap to bring over.
