At more than the half way point, the table shows a 3 horse race between Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea.
Who will join the leaders?
At this point, Liverpool is really looking like loserfool. Stuck in 7th place, out of the FA Cup, out of the League Cup, out of the CL and definitely out their fan's favour. They are better off out in the woods! To add more woes to them, they are going to lose Torres for 6 weeks, Benayoun for 4 weeks and Gerrard for another fortnight. The 3 of them probably accounts for 80% of their goals. I will be very surprised if Benitez is still manager at the end of the season.
Man City is looking very strong at the moment. With a new coach who actually knows what he is doing, the defence has tightened up and they have started to win their previously drawn games. There is no doubt that Mancini is bringing a positive effect on the players. Mancini gamble on Vieira could well be the signing of the season if the former Arsenal star stays injury free and leads the team.
Interestingly, if I may digress, Man city seems to have a love for Arsenal players with players such as Toure, Adebayor, Vieira and Slyinho on their books. Goes to show how enduring and talented Arsenal players are.
Anyway, I digress. How about Spurs and Villa? The two teams are full of Englishmen. From promising youngsters like Agbonlahor, Milner, Ashley Young, Huddlestone and Lennon to more established England internationals like Defoe, Crouch, Heskey and Luke Young (who retired from internationals), they try their very best to break into the top 4.
In additional, they have two very astute (or cunning) managers in Harry Redknapp and Martin O'Neill. However, both teams seemed to lack a real star leader. Someone like Fabregas, RVP or Terry or Rooney.
If things continue as it is, it looks mighty likely that Man City is the only team capable of challenging the top 3. If that happens, it only goes to show that MONEY can buy everything.
Well, for me, its only important that ARSENAL win back the Premier League title!
GO GUnners!!!

Well, we would probably be the strongest team if our squad were not always plagued by injuries. Therefore, I think Chelskis at present are in a better position. Manure are drawning in their debts and I don't know how long they will be able to fight for the title. Man City with their piles of money look as a more serious threat than united, I think. Rottenham and Villa have good teams, but at present I don't think they can fight for the title.

What we understand the world to be like is determined by many things: our sensory organs, our ability to move and manipulate objects, the detailed structure of our brain, our culture, and our interactions in our environment, at the very least. (Lakoff and Johnson 1999: 102)

I think citeh will make it as the fourth team. Although they lost their last game, but they have a lot of strength in depth.
Liverpool has lost the plot. They have to get rid of Benitez early or risk losing Torres all together.
