According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are on "red alert" because Mikel Arteta's contract talks at Goodison Park have hit an snag. Everton are keen to reach agreement on a new deal for their Spanish playmaker but Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly now weighing up a move for the 28-year-old.

If Fabregas goes, I think we definitely will have a go for Arteta.
If he stays, it will be very interesting to pair him and Arteta together.

But will we open the check book and stay buying?

No way fabregas can be replaced by some one like him, he is a good player but for Arsenal he should be playing alongside a real world class performer so question is will wenger open his check book and buy two players in midfield when fabregas goes coz believe you me he is going,

He isn't player who can replace Cesc.He's a second rated player.We need world class players like Kaka to replace Cesc..

Nevetheless,it's the best if Cesc doesn't leave us...

Replacing Fabregas will be a tough challenge for anybody... I don't think Arteta could do it decently...
