Not very exciting and probably not the solution for our current problem, but it seems that we have completed the £3.5 million signing of Brazilian striker Wellington Silva.

The 16-year-old, who plays for Fluminense, will not join up with his Arsenal team-mates until his 18th birthday in January 2011 due to FIFA regulations.

The player's agent, Rodrigo Pitta, said: “We completed the transaction last week, the player is already Arsenal's and Fluminense have already received some money.”

Silva has represented Brazil at Under-17 level in both the World Cup and South American Championship

Guys,I saw this kid's talent on youtube..& God Gracious..he's that good..The speed & his dazzling dribbling skill was so good to watch.He's not that very small built but looks agressive enough to intimidate defenders!
But the thing is his club will release him to us at 2011.We all hope for established striker & be in the squad right now but AW is planning ahead of us...I bet we are confuse all over again.
Will the real new striker please stand up?
