Hi All, Sorry this is late but just heard that Ade has now completed a move to Man City for £25 million.
He was left out of the friendly against Barnet on saturday as he was up at city completing his deal.
I'll be honest now in saying that even though he didn't have a good last season with us he did play well in the other seasons so I do hope Wenger finds a good replacement.I do hope instead of just a stirker he finds an atacking midfiedler as that is what we could do with.

its always sad to see anybody leaving arsenal but looking on the brighter side we may now get a striker who is willing to work his socks off day in and day out....plus we have money so i hope we buy chamakh and a DM(high class) with this money

with £25 mil.. why cant we buy another striker better than ADE..
but yes.. i also feel sad to see a gunner leaving arsenal..

I have to say I'm pleased to welcome Rosicky back afetr long 18months of injury.Our captain was so overjoyed that he's back in the team.
Well, bye-bye Ade and wenger got 25mil..A good deal when wenger bought Ade at 7mil from Monaco if I'm not mistaken.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said he was sorry to see Adebayor leave, but insisted he had no immediate plans to replace him.
"We're not on the verge of signing anybody but I'm able to spend the money if we find the right players," he said,
"We have Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo back so we've lost a big striker but have gained two offensive players who were absent last season.
"We also have Nicklas Bendtner, Andrey Arshavin, Robin van Persie and Theo Walcott who can play striker. We have top players we can use as strikers.
"But we'll miss Emmanuel - he's a great player. I'm sure he'll give something special to Man City.

Its sad that he is going to a rival in the league. Is not good for us to build a player up and sell to our rivals for a little profit. Well, I hope he has a horrible season.
With the money, we must get our DM and maybe another center back. Dont let the money go to waste.

i think the question is do we really need to buy another striker? any striker that we have that is capable of scoring 30 goals in a season?
if so, we dont need
