England lost 1-4 to Germany, but they had a chance to equalise at 2-1. Frank Lampard shot actually crossed the line but the 'blind' ref and linesman say it did not.
What do you say? England was robbed? or overall they still deserve to lose?

are you kidding me? there is no way they deserved to go through, even lets assume it was 2-2 at half time but they were awful after the half time. so they deserved to go thru and atleast we will see a fighting time next round instead to media hue and cry and bullshit

yah. I think overall they sucked.... although injustice was done with that 'goal' disallowed....
no passion, no flame...
Rooney was a joker running around..
JTerry shd never have started.
Barry was so slow that he was outran for that goal...
Cashly cole is just useless..
I think England has to wait another 44 years...and we will be old men by then to watch them finally win something!!!

They weren't good enough to reach next round. Even if Lampard's goal was allowed, Germany would score next goals..
Exactly,England wasn't robbed,but was rubbish...
Germans were really deserved winners..

I agree with you all i am English and proud of it, but i was totally dismayed and embarrassed by the England teams performance in the world cup.
It is time now to drop the players such as Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Cole,Barry, and bring some of the under 21's through to the full squad, and start afresh the same as the Germans have.

BOTH!! If the referee had given the goal we might have seen a completely different game because Englands confidence would have rocketed and Germany's would have been depleted. But on the other hand England didnt pick themselves up and move on instead played worse. And also after such bad group stage preformances(and never put any Arsenal players in their team) they didnt deserve to go through!!!
