You will see that Manuel Alumnia has made nine saves so far this season and conceded eight goals, one of the worst records in the division. This table makes worse reading for Almunia given the fact that Vito Mannone kept a clean sheet on his debut, sending him to the top of the table - although he has of course only played one game. Brad Friedel's efforts for Aston Villa are perhaps more noteworthy. The American has made 22 saves so far this season and has conceded just three goals in the process.

Well, everybody knows that Almunia is not David Seaman. Still, I think that we could win something even with him defending the goal, if we had stronger backlines.

Seriously, wenger wont buy another GK.The fund was not on the table for him as I see it.The backing from the boards are really sucks.If there was any fund left...then Fill the potential huge vacant needed was to buy experienced Defensive Midfielder(I'm sick of hearing DM)in which I really feel sick each time denilson fill that gap.It could be one of the worst few games for Almunia..maybe he'll get over it..

Not happy with Almunia but still he can plug the hole for the time being.

We need a DM more urgently. yah, real gunner, i sick of repeating myself like a spoilt recorder. hahahaa..
