Diaby has been rewarded for his improved form this season by signing what the club describe as a new "long-term" contract.
Diaby, 23, has flitted in and out of the Arsenal team since sustaining a serious ankle injury at the end of the 2005-06 season but has flourished in Arsene Wenger's 4-3-3 formation of late, scoring six times in 23 appearances during the current campaign.
"This shows my long-term commitment to Arsenal and I am very happy here, which is why I am so pleased to extend my contract," said Diaby. "It's a great thing for me and hopefully there will be some good years ahead for me here."
I have noticed a chance in his attitude and he now tracks back after losing the ball. He is now rewarded with a new contract and I hope he will grab the chance with both hands and fulfill his potential.
Go Gunners!!!
