Well season is nearly over and i defy anyone who tries to deny that this season (like the 5 before it) was another embarrasing failure. I am once again calling for Wenger's sacking. When I was saying this last year, all the Wenger fans were saying to give him one more season to win something. Well he's had another chance and that's meant that wev'e had ano0ther embarrising season of failures.

Let's review

I'll start with the positives (as there is not many)

Vermalean was a good signing to replace Toure. Him and Gallas have looked good as a first choice pair in the defence.
We've showed better consistency against lesser sides.

Well that's it for positives!

Now negatives, (there's been lots)

Embarrased by Man City at the start of the season (I was more angry at our woeful display than I was at Adebayors celebrations)
Embarrassed TWICE by Man Utd, Humiliated TWICE by Chelsea and then the humiliation recently against Tottenham (unforgivable)

The only reason we were even close to winning the league this year was because of Man U and Chelsea continuous cock ups. And then each time we were given an oppurtunity to sieze the chance we failed miserably, most recently against Wigan. This season has been the worst of all, we have been a joke all season long and it is Wengers fault.

He ignores our faults, makes excuses and is ruining our club. Forget what he did ten years ago when he resembled a decent manager. He has been an embarrinsing failure for more than 5 years now and I want him gone before he drags us down any further and we find oursleves envying the success of tottenham.

I beg to differ that it is Wenger's fault. It is down to the amazing number of injuries we had and the long term duration of many of them.

Djourou, Gibbs, RVP, Gallas, Fabregas and Clichy all missed like at least 15 games for us. If we had them missing fewer than 5 games throughout the season, we could have won something for sure.

There are improvements by Walcott and Bendtner but they could not lift the team to the heights if led by Fabregas and RVP.


However, I do agree that Wenger is at fault for not re-inforcing during the Jan transfer window. We could have bought a CB instead of signing a 35 year old Sol. He is good but he no longer can do it for 90 mins at 2 games a week.

And the keeper is a joke. We were way behind in that department against cech and van der sar. We could have gotten at least some international keeper instead Almmmooooooooniaaa.a.....

But we have to keep Wenger. Change the board, change the chairman and buy cover for the key positions. We nearly did it and we can do it with more experienced players next season.

Season is a failure indeed. Very upset.

Quite difficult to say this season is a success because we won NOTHING!

The shitty part is the number of injuries we had. nobody would know if we had RVP fit and healthy all the way, he could have score another 20 goals and led us to glory despite our shaky defence.

Vermaelen is a great buy and is another show of Wenger acumen in finding players.

But i agree that the failure to reinforce the CB positions and goalkeeper position really cost us the title.

I was quite devastated by our disappearance in the last 10 mins of the Wigan match. Really showed that old men cannot play 90 mins.

Silvestre MUST NEVER wear an Arsenal shirt again. He shd retired for god sake......

So angry and disappointed. If only we had Fabregas, AA, RVP and Gallas fit. I am sure we will be leading the table now!

We need change for next season!

RVP injury was predictable, I don't know what games you were watching to say that Walcot and Bendner have been anyhting other that useless.

He chose crap players like Silvestre, Denilson, Diaby, Bendner so it's his fault!!

I totally and utterly agree to Mattmatt when he says that we have been pathetic this season and i agreed to you 1st when you said that its wenger's fault.
First of all anyone who says that walcott has improved is only wenger's friend.There can be no sane person who watched the whole season could say that...he has been a dissapointment since he has been bought from southampton and i don't expect anything from him...not sure if he is gonna make the English team.
Bendtner, i have to say i like his effort and excitement but he is just not good enough...
RVP, well guys who are you kidding...stop saying that if he were fit we would have done wonders...he has been at Arsenal for ages and never played a full season so wenger knew it and didn't reinforce...his fault again
Arshavin was shit this season....most of the time he didn't look interested this season and specially after russia's exit from the world cup he was disinterested..
Always said that we needed a GK but nobody listened and wenger was always saying that he has some great talent but he has been proven wrong
So he bought crap players, made us lose to chelsea 4 times over the last two seasons, i dunno how many times manure himiliated us and we even failed to beat villa ....and rottenham fucked us as well....but its not about the results its about the general feeling about Arsenal...we have lost our aura and anyteam feels they can win against us... specially teams like wigan away..

i was one of the ardent supporters of wenger but i have to say he disapointed me and no one is bigger than the club...and stop saying injuries you all...everyteam had injuriess its just we never have players to replace them

i hate when arsenal fans dont critize the players and manager for the team's shitty performane...they are the ones responsible for everything and we always look for excuses like injuries and stuff which is a complete load of shit

Yes,It's Wenger's fault.He,optimistic guy,always trusted his youth academy.However,he should use young players with experienced players instead of using them alone.They haven't matured enough yet to handle high-pressured matches against Big teams like Barca,Man U and Chelsea.

He also hesitated to use his transfer fees < not certain whether he got it or not>.In this world,no money no victory.We must use certain amount of money to build strong team.

So,what for next season?Charmakh alone can't save us from this disaster.We still need more world class players.

I think we gained nothing apart from Vermelen and dramatically improved Song.

The most important things for next season is to keep our captain and to clean and replace some dumb guys,Slvestre,,Denilson,Bendtner and last but not least,Fabianski.

It's so hard to accept the same shitty feeling for 5 consecutive years...
