Sol quits Notts County 2 Years, 4 Months ago

Wenger believes that Sol Campbell quit Notts County because he believes he can still cut it in the Premier League.
Then why he let Sol go? Is it because he thinks Sol cant make it at Arsenal?
Wenger thinks the former Gunners and Portsmouth defender realised it was too early to give up the challenge of the top flight.
Campbell terminated his five-year deal with League Two Notts County and looks as though he will be unable to play for another club until January.
But Wenger said: ''He knew straight away that's not where is challenge is. It is always a cultural shock when you go down a level. I know from talking to players who have had to do that. They experienced it badly in the first six months and you can understand why they decided to quit.
''I believe Sol still has enough in the locker to play in the Premier League.''
Amazing Le Boss words again...

It seems like Sol wants to train at the Emirates....
He was interviewed on BBCR5Live last night whilst he watched the basketball at the O2. He made it clear that all he's asked for is to utilise the club's facilities to maintain his fitness, not to train with the first team.
Separately, BBCR also interviewed Defoe, who said "Sol would be a great addition and I hope we sign him".
When asked about possible fan reaction, all he said was "I don't know about that...".
Hahaa... Sol is a funny guy... Maybe he is still good for a few cup games but not for the long run.... I wont see him coming back as it is against what Le Boss is doing: BUILD A STRONG YOUNG TEAM to challenge for trophies.
Good luck, Sol Campbell...

Its confirmed. Sol is back in training at the Emirates. But Wenger has stressed there is no chance of the defender rejoining the club on a permanent basis
West Brom are reported to be keen on the 35-year-old but Campbell is prohibited from joining a new club until January having been registered with County when the transfer window closed.
Kind gesture by Le Boss.
