RVP started in a charity match last
night and was rumoured to of come off injured early on after setting up a goal.

The match was played at the Allianz Arena to benefit ‘Goal4Africa’: A football match between two all-star teams put together by AC Milan
duo Clarence Seedorf and Ronaldo.

Tragic news if this is real... Will RVP ever be fit to last one whole season for us?

This is something I hate to hear!!!
feels like it's a jinx whenever he's ready start to play for Arsenal.He's good whenever playing outside of EPL..
It sounds pretty bad to us and wenger must be frustrated by this news..
The thing is RVP should focus on training at Arsenal more than participate the charity match as there a bunch of players can take his spot.
A Bad News..but Hope he can recover the soonest.

Will anyone wake up and face the reality that RVP is a loss of money for Arsenal? How many games did he play in the last 3 seasons? One month in total each season. I'm sorry, but for a high class player it just isn't enough!!!
To hell with his situation, he is a good player, but not irreplaceable.
When AW thinks of making cost cutting, he should start at his never proven star - RVP.
Why is everyone so stubborn and expecting him to rise up each season? It reminds me of the movie The great expectations. Barca kicked out Ronaldinho only after one lousy season. But not we, we are very patient and wait. And we "won" a numerous titles while waiting so it didn't matter on the "success" of our club. It makes me sick.

it makes me sick too..each time epl starts he's injured..sometimes it comes to a point that I was feeling "heyy,,just sell him off"..

He is a important player to us and if we had had him in the last season, we probably would have done something better !

tdejan, i agree with you that he is a part time player. He is great but he cannot last a whole season up to now....

But the Question is : if he is out, who can replace him? i see nobody at the moment....

so, i see your point but i see no other great striker/winger stepping up like RVP (WHEN he is not INJURED)... its a frustrating thing and I can share your same frustration... In my humble opinion, we should not sell anymore. We cant afford too.

4 more weeks and still no MAJOR signing for us.. the maths dont balance... 4 out (lehmann, Flamini, Hleb, Gilberto) and 1.5 in (Nasri and the kid Ramsey) ..... Not good....
