Martins has been quoted saying it would be nice to play for Arsenal. However before you start shouting obscenities at the computer screen he also said that unless Newcastle want to let him go then he is going nowhere. I would say this is an understandable comment bearing in mind what kind of season we have just has and the fact that Arsene is known to be an admirer but believe me if Keegan has ANY influence what-so-ever Martin's is going nowhere.

Martins may be available at a reasonable price, but i dont think he is a like to like replacement for Ade. Martins like to come in from deep and seems to play much better as a second striker when he drifts in from the left wing.

The bigger question is Do we have the money? and when? with big question marks over Adebayor and Hleb, it will difficult to maintain the books not knowing they are staying or going.
