Tournament favourites Germany and Spain are in the final as many have predicted at the start of Euro 2008.

Germany, with Podolski, Schweinsteiger and Klose in scintillating form, will have experience and history behind them. Although they were not in top form against Turkey in the semi-finals, luck and experience brought them through with a 3-2 win.

Spain on the other hand, thrash the s*&^ out of Russia with a commanding 3-0 win that dispelled any thoughts of the Spanish being chokers in this tournament. Although top scorer Villa is out, they have enough firepower in Torres, Fabregas, Guiza and company to fire them through.

Mark your calendars! 29 June (this coming Sunday) is the big match! Who do you think will win?

I have to admit I like Michael Ballack, he's a strong player, and I'm not surprised Germany's doing well. I'm rooting for Spain though, because of our own little golden-boy Fabregas! Go Cesc!

i see spain to win this final close encounter.If we really notice that against bigger & taller opponents Spain really can outmuscle them in defence,midfield and forwards too.Their smooth and slick passing just made bigger teams chasing shadows.With our loyal Fabregas's great vison in one touch pass is enough to torture the German's suspected defence.Anyone still remember the match Turkey against Germany's defence?

yes, Germany is the favourite, but the favourite ever not win....

the Spanish national team not have experience in big matches, if we are speaking about nationals teams, but their players have this experience in their clubs. do you know all the important games and finals that Casillas, Ramos, Fabregas, Puyol, Xavi, Alonso, Iniesta.... are playing? i think the same or more that Ballack, Frings, Schweinsteiger, Mertesacker....

in the history, yes, the experience is important, but now a day, wich player who play an EURO final, havent got experience in big matches??

another thing will be if the final are playing by Germany and Austria, in this case the experience is different...
