How Long Have You Been An Arsenal Fan?

Odds of Arsenal with Cesc PDF Print E-mail
Arsenal has been on a drought of late, going for many years without any silverware to show off. Their last division title came in 2003/04, and while they have been struggling to reach the top of the mountain, in-division rivals like Tottenham have been nipping at The Gunners’ heels.

Never afraid to spend big money for big talent, Arsenal is always busy with their wallets open, bringing in players like Cesc Fabregas. However, footie is a fickle thing, and most stars end up following the biggest payday.

This has left an air of doubt around Fabregas for a while, always wondering whether or not he’d leave England in the dark of night and suit up for Barcelona to give the Spanish champs some more firepower.

To the joy of Gunners’ fans everywhere, Fabregas has reaffirmed his commitment to Arsenal, citing that he would stick with the guy who gave him his initial shot, Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners have been waiting a long six years to climb that mountain again, and now the 23-year-old midfielder gives them a solid chance to compete.

Arsenal can end their drought next Sunday with a win over Birmingham to take down the Carling Cup. The top UK casinos online and the best sports books have The Gunners as favorites, and with players like Cesc committed and determined to get Arsenal over the hump, their odds improve even more.

Never one to shy away from inflated predictions, Wenger states that he feels Arsenal’s odds of winning the quadruple are great this year, better than they’ve been in a long time.

Realistically, this seems like a stretch. To the chagrin of every Gunners’ faithful out there, Man U is playing fantastic footie, and this means Arsenal has to do more than compete in every matchup; they also have to hope other teams fall off.

A betting man would rather play slots online than to bet on Arsenal pulling off a quadruple this season, but the entire team seems confident that they have what it takes to not only end the drought but to dominate the field going forward.

If they’re going to do any of the above, having players like Fabregas certainly give them the best shot. We’ll see how it all ends up going forward, but The Gunners definitely seem like locks to at least bring home a trophy.
