We will be without key midfielder, Fabregas and several other first-team regulars for Wednesday's Champions League qualifier against FC Twente in Holland.

Fabregas (hamstring) joins the likes of Kolo Toure (hip), Abou Diaby (thigh), Philippe Senderos (hamstring) and summer signing Samri Nasri (knee/thigh) on the sidelines along with Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo, who are both recovering from long-term injuries.

This is not good news for us as our season official starts with this qualifier. I have confident we will win and hope the lads will deliver tonight.

I thought of something funny. FC Twente reminds me of the cartoon character of Tweety Bird. Hence, as the GUNNERS, we should be able to shoot them down!

Experience led the way with goals from our Captain Gallas and born-again gunner Adebayor in the second half of the game. With a 2-0 win in the first leg, the pressure is off and we just have to maintain our composure for the second leg.

despite the win, arsenal are lucky because twente didn't have the sharpness to go for goals..arsenal didn't have the depth on the midfield..wenger really2 needs to sign a flamini-type defensive midfield..if not, i'm pretty sure that we'll be empty handed again this season..we need someone like flamini or diarra..losing them is the bigggest mistake that arsene ever done for arsenal..i don't care about hleb(he can't score) neither gilberto..but losing flamini was really dissaponting for me..hope wenger will find a better replacement for flamini. arsenal really2 needs someone who can hold the midfield. please arsene, do your magic on the defensive midfield!!
